Meet our Veterinarians:
Dr. Kyle, DVM
Dr. Kristen Kyle is a native of western Pennsylvania. She graduated Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biology prior to moving to Pittsburgh to pursue a masters degree in biology from Chatham University. While in Pittsburgh she completed an internship at a local wildlife rehabilitation center and worked for a small animal emergency and specialty hospital. She attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in May 2015. Her interests include ophthalmology and feline medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Kyle enjoys traveling, reading and going to any Pittsburgh sporting event. She has a black cat with half of a tail who she adopted from a Mississippi shelter.
Dr. Sliwa, DVM
Dr. Sliwa was born in Poland and graduated in 1993 from Purdue University in Indiana as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Throughout his career, he has been heavily involved in working with shelters and other non-profit animal organizations in addition to running his own practice.
With over 35 years of experience in animal care, Dr. Sliwa is a welcome addition to our veterinary team and will be performing surgery at his Greensburg office

Severely sick cases that require hospitalization are referred to one of the local full-service veterinary hospitals for admission.
