Puppy Parties are “Play Dates” for dogs under 2 years old.

Is your furry friend ready to unleash the fun? Join us for an unforgettable Puppy Party that’s tail-waggingly good!

At Walkers Pet HoTail, we understand the importance of early socialization for your precious pup, and we’ve crafted the perfect environment for them to learn, play, and grow.

These FREE monthly parties help pups socialize and build positive experiences with new friends (both human and K9) helping them learn appropriate ways to behave.

Our Puppy Parties Are Special Because They Are:

• Safe & Supervised:
  • Puppy playgroups are organized by size – so little pups aren’t overwhelmed by big ones.
  • All puppies will have up-to-date veterinary records – so they don’t get each other sick.
  • Puppy Parties are supervised by our experienced staff and the pup’s human family – to ensure every tail-wagger feels secure and happy.
  • Pups experience off leash playtime in secure, fenced-in areas.
    • Leashes are required for all Dogs before and after the party – to maintain control.  (Unruly humans may also be leashed!)
• Fun for the Whole Family:
  • Puppy parties aren’t just for pups! These “Kid-Friendly” events are a great opportunity for the whole family to bond, learn, and share the joy of raising a happy and healthy canine companion.
    • Walkers will provide snacks and beverages for humans, so people can socialize too!
• Education & Expert Guidance:
  • While your furry friend is having a blast, our experienced trainers will share valuable insights on puppy behavior, body language, training tips, and how to create a harmonious home environment.
    • We encourage everyone, especially parents of children who are thinking about getting a new puppy,  to ask questions about what they see.  This will help them learn about the many varieties of dogs as well as the many the responsibilities of helping a puppy grow up to be a good dog.
• Super Socialization:
  • Our parties are the ideal playground for your pup to mingle with other adorable furballs.
    • Socializing at an early age helps build confidence and positive behavior.
  • Attending these parties every month builds your puppy’s confidence and social skills as their bodies grow.
    • Walkers Pet HoTail Pet Care Center has held these free parties almost every month since we opened.
      • (We hold special events in October and December!)
    • Puppy parties are held “Rain or Shine” – outside in our fenced in play yards or inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate!

How to Attend Puppy Parties?

• Puppy parties are FREE for anyone to attend.
  • An RSVP is strongly recommended, but not required.
    • Call Walkers at (724) 327-PAWS in advance to let us know if you are planning to attend and to make sure we have your pups current vet records on file.

Requirements for attending Puppy Parties:

• Puppies over 6-Months Old: Must be spayed or neutered
• Veterinary records are required
  • Rabies, Distemper Series vaccinations must be current.
  • The Bordetella (Canine Cough) vaccine must be current and have been given at least 3 days before the party.
  • Walkers also requires proof of a negative fecal test.
    • We encourage people to ask their Vet to fax or email these records to our attention prior to the party to facilitate the check-in process.
